Delivering martial arts to the community
We are a program under The Kung Fu Academy that is a government-registered institution and affiliated to one of the founder organizations of the National Martial Arts Centre. We provide the best of martial arts training that suits the environment and the people living in it. The Academy is run by professional instructors that have extensive experience in the martial arts and delivery of different training programs.
Our Story
Our Wing Chun in Maldives was started in 2018 with only two students that became closed-door students of our Instructor. These students were committed to dive extensively into the Wing Chun system, and so our Instructor had continued to train them. Over the years Wing Chun had developed into a system that is widely applicable to violence in the Maldivian environment. Therefore, a local curriculum was developed to reflect on this. These two students became the first to complete the test-driven curriculum.

Over the years our Wing Chun class grew into a family of people who shared common interests and goals to learn self-defense and combat. Batches formed over the years and students developed their own style of using Wing Chun to become better versions of themselves. Our Wing Chun program is now delivered by The Kung Fu Academy.
